G PS III SV09 is the ninth satellite in the GPS III series\, part of the next generation of the United States&rsquo\; Global P ositioning System\, operated by the United States Space For ce. The GPS III constellation provides highly accurate positioning\, navigation\, and timing (PNT) services to military and civilian users worldwide.

Compared to earlier GPS satellites\, GPS III spac ecraft deliver up to three times greater accuracy\, enhanced anti-jamming capability\, and improv ed system reliability. These upgrades are critical for modern navigation\, telecommunications\, emergency response\, aviation\, maritime operations\ , and precision military applications.

GPS III SV09 will be deployed into Medium Earth Orbit (MEO)\, where it will join the opera tional constellation following on-orbit checkout.
